Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine because it allows me to form meaningful relationship with patients at all ages and stages in their life. Additionally, I am passionate about preventative health and addressing substance use disorders. I love the day-to-day variety that a family medicine practice offers!

Why I chose the IU Arnett Family Medicine Residency Program: My husband and I grew up in Attica and our families still reside in the area. We are excited to raise our family close to our hometown, and I am excited to serve a patient population that I deeply care about. Besides location, the Arnett Residency has the academic resources of a large program while being in a smaller community hospital. I was fortunate to rotate with the program during medical school clinicals and appreciated how friendly, welcoming, and willing to teach the residents and faculty were in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Personal interests and hobbies: I love spending as much time as possible with my husband and son. My other interests include finding new recipes to cook or bake, reading, and working out.
