
Maxwell Bohrer, MD
Bio
Max grew up locally in Zionsville, IN and attended Zionsville Community High School. He then completed his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at DePauw University where he majored in Biochemistry and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. He continued to stay close to home for medical school, where he completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Indiana University School of Medicine, in addition to completing a Medical Education Scholarly Concentation. During medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society and awarded with the Society for Academic Medicine Excellence in Emergency Medicine Award, as well as the Clinical Medical Student Leadership Award.
Max spent many of his school breaks during his undergraduate years shadowing at the Methodist Emergency Department, where the faculty and residents always made him feel like a part of the family. From the first day that he stepped foot inside of the department, it was his dream to become a part of the IUEM residency program.
