Bio
Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine because of the comprehensive training and the unique ability to care for patients across all age groups. I am drawn to continuity of care and the ability to form long-term relationships with my patients. The broad scope of family medicine ensures that I will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to address a wide variety of health concerns, allowing me to serve as a trusted healthcare provider for my patients. Additionally, I value the versatility of the specialty, as it enables me guide patients through preventive care, health promotion, and disease management—making it a fulfilling field to pursue.
Why I chose the IU Arnett Family Medicine Residency Program: I chose IU Arnett Family Medicine Residency because it is an unopposed, community-based program that offers a unique and valuable educational experience. During my family medicine sub-internship with the residency program, I had the opportunity to work closely with an exceptional team of residents and faculty. Everyone was supportive, creating a learning environment where I felt both challenged and encouraged.
Personal interests and hobbies: I enjoy spending time with my family, watching true crime television, listening to music, dancing and cooking.
Languages I am fluent in: English, Spanish
