Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine because I love the breadth and continuity it offers—being able to care for patients of all ages, build lasting relationships, and the ability to address both physical and mental health in a holistic way. Family Medicine also gives me the flexibility to incorporate my passions for preventive care, community engagement, and health equity into my clinical practice.

Why I chose the IU Family Medicine Residency Program: I was drawn to the IU Family Medicine Residency because of its strong academic foundation, commitment to serving underserved populations, and supportive environment. The program's location in Indianapolis offers diverse clinical experiences, and the faculty and residents I met during my interview and rotations at Methodist were genuinely passionate, down-to-earth, and invested in each other's growth. IU’s emphasis on teaching, research, and community outreach aligned perfectly with my long-term goals.

Interests and hobbies: I’ve always loved being outdoors and keeping active with bouldering, rock climbing, weightlifting, running, snow skiing, wakeboarding, and hiking! Some of my indoor hobbies include tabletop games and playing a wide array of video games with friends!

Languages I speak fluently: English
