About David

David’s journey at IU began in 2021 when he started as a student intern. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in new media from IU Indianapolis Luddy School of Informatics, David continued to contribute part-time, producing videos for the Office of Gift Development and Alumni Relations.

Before coming to IU, David spent fifteen years as a sommelier and wine director in Washington, DC. David holds the advanced sommelier diploma from the Court of Master Sommeliers' American Chapter and has taught various classes throughout the country on the subject of potent potables. David now lives in Broad Ripple with his dog Leo.
