About Amanda

Amanda joined the Office of Gift Development in 2022. As part of the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center’s development team, she creates and maintains relationships that allow donors to directly impact cancer treatment research, development and education. Amanda’s focus areas include gastrointestinal, ovarian, breast and testis cancer, most of which she has a personal connection to via the experiences of friends and family.

Before coming to the Office of Gift Development, Amanda served as a director of development for Ivy Tech Indianapolis, where she was an adjunct instructor for the English department.

An alum of both IUPUI and the University of Indianapolis, she earned a BS in Psychology in 2008 and an MA in English in 2011. Amanda enjoys cooking and traveling, and she and her husband enjoy spending time with family, friends and their cats Lady and Gene.
