Bio

Dr. Kanchan Bhasin is a postdoctoral fellow whose work is driven by a central question: how emerging therapies and technologies can be combined to improve outcomes, prevention, and early diagnosis of chronic diseases. With a clinical foundation and experience across research and industry settings, their focus lies in bridging innovation with practical, real-world patient care.

Dr. Bhasin's current research focuses on type 1 diabetes (T1D), with an emphasis on adjunctive therapies such as GLP-1 receptor agonists and SGLT inhibitors, alongside diabetes technologies including continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and automated insulin delivery (AID) systems. Her work includes evaluating the safety and efficacy of emerging adjunctive treatments, as well as exploring how the current therapies can be integrated with technology to improve glycemic outcomes and reduce the daily burden of T1D management for persons with diabetes.

In prior work, Dr. Bhasin has contributed to a range of clinical studies, trials, and research projects spanning endocrinology, cardiology, and metabolic diseases across academic and industry settings. Her work has been shared through peer-reviewed publications, presentations at scientific conferences, and invited speaker engagements and panel discussions, reflecting an active role in shaping and contributing to the broader global research and clinical community.
