Bio
Adam Wilensky, MD, currently serves as Assistant Professor of Surgery. Dr. Wilensky received his medical degree from New York Medical College.
Prior to joining Indiana University, Dr. Wilensky completed General Surgery residency training at the University of South Florida, followed by Surgical Critical Care and AAST Acute Care Surgery fellowship at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
His clinical focus is in Acute Care Surgery and includes trauma surgery, emergency general surgery and surgical critical care.
Dr. Wilensky’s research focus is in trauma outcomes, and he has contributed to several quality improvement projects and clinical practice guidelines.
Dr. Wilensky is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, where he currently serves in the Injury Control & Violence Prevention Committee.
