Bio

I completed medical school in Mumbai, India, before moving to the U.S. for Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. During residency, I developed a strong interest in classical hematology, particularly in hemostasis and thrombosis, and was fortunate to work with mentors across US who deepened my appreciation for the complexity of these disorders. I am also passionate about malignant hematology and have growing interests in cellular therapies, bone marrow transplantation, and gene therapies. Outside of medicine, I’m a certified scuba diver and amateur coffee Q grader. I love exploring new cafes and roasters in every city I visit. I also enjoy traveling, singing, and curating playlists for long road trips or short coffee runs.
