Cynthia A. Moffitt, MD

Bio

Dr. Cynthia Moffitt received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine before completing her pediatrics residency and chief residency at UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. She completed her pediatric critical care fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital before joining the team at Indiana University School of Medicine/Riley Children’s Health. Throughout her medical training she has been interested in global health and health equity, and she continues to spend clinical and research time in Uganda. Her research interests include improving care for critically ill children through implementation science in resource-limited settings. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog.
