The DeBosch Lab seeks to understand the molecular determinants of energy homeostasis and insulin resistance. We utilize techniques from biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and physiology to understand the signals that drive substrate utilization during fasting and in the overfed state. Our mission is to utilize a fundamental understanding of fuel utilization to treat metabolic disease in children and adults.
