He completed a pediatric critical care fellowship at Phoenix Children’s. He did an additional year of training combining a critical care ultrasound fellowship (London, ON) with a pediatric critical care global health fellowship. He spent 6 months in Blantyre, Malawi where he did ultrasound-based research in AKI in pediatric cerebral malaria. His clinical and research interests are in global health and the utilization of POCUS for assessing hemodynamics.Outside of medicine he enjoys reading, hiking, biking and traveling with his wife (Amanda) and two children (Eleni and Gabriel).
