Bio
Chioma Enyi, MD, MPH, recently completed both her psychiatry residency and addiction fellowship in our department. She also pursued advanced psychotherapy training at the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute. She earned her Master of Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
In her new role, Dr. Enyi will serve patients at the IU Health West OB Clinic, IUH Eagle Highlands Surburban Clinic and the IU Health Neuroscience Center at Goodman Hall. Her clinical practice will include both perinatal mental health including substance use disorders in pregnancy and general adult psychiatry, delivered through a combination of in-person and virtual visits.
Dr. Enyi is passionate about integrating clinical care, education, and research to enhance patient outcomes. She has published and presented nationally on topics ranging from perinatal psychiatry and cultural disparities in healthcare to addiction and psychodynamic approaches. She will actively contribute to the department’s educational mission, teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows.
