Bio
Stephen grew up in Holland, MI and later moved to Indianapolis, attending Purdue University for his undergraduate degree. He completed his MD/PhD at Saint Louis University, studying novel hormones preventing and treating hypoglycemia in diabetes. He completed his pediatrics residency at IU and is now a pediatric endocrinology fellow. He has clinical and research interest in early identification, prevention, and management of Type 1 Diabetes. In his free time, he spends time with his wife and kids, and enjoys playing board games, listening to podcasts, and walking his dog.
