Bio

Dr. Schwartzkopf is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology within the department of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine and Riley Children’s Hospital. Dr. Schwartzkopf completed her graduate training at Spalding University in Louisville, KY. She completed both her Clinical Psychology Internship and Fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD. She joined the department of Psychiatry in 2020 and is currently the clinical director of the Psychiatry Consultation/Liaison Service where she provides clinical care to children who are medically admitted at Riley Hospital. She specializes in behaviorally managing various  disease groups. She also has a longstanding interest in working with children living with chronic medical conditions, providing eqiutable healthcare, program development, and patient advocacy.
