Bio

In 2020, I chose to leave Alabama, where I completed my undergraduate and medical school education, to pursue residency training in Indianapolis. After completing my residency, I decided to serve an additional chief year in 2023. My experience with the hematology and oncology department at IU inspired me to apply exclusively for their fellowship program. The exceptional mentorship, abundant research opportunities, and welcoming environment make IU an ideal place to advance my career. Although I am still refining my specific career interests, I am confident that IU will support me in achieving my professional goals. Outside of medicine, I cherish spending time with my husband and son, cooking elaborate meals, exercising, and gardening.
