Bio

J. Howard Pratt, MD, is board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology and metabolism. Dr. Pratt has been practicing endocrinology since 1976. He has special clinical interests in  hypertension. Dr. Pratt is a National Institutes of Health-funded clinical researcher, lecturer and clinical educator.

Dr. Pratt received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota. He completed his internship at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y., and his residency at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. He also completed a fellowship in endocrinology at Boston
University Hospital in Boston, Mass. Dr. Pratt is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Federation for Clinical Research, American Heart Association and a fellow for the Council for High Blood Pressure Research.
