Bio
Dr. Beth Ann Traylor serves as the Neuroanesthesia Division Chief at IU Health/Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She previously practiced with the private anesthesia group that provided services to Methodist for many years. When IU Health began transitioning subspecialty surgical services from University Hospital to Methodist, anesthesia resident rotations were incorporated at the site, and members of the private practice group became involved in resident education. This transition marked the beginning of Dr. Traylor’s focus on neuroanesthesia, a specialty she has now practiced for 15 years.
With Methodist now integrated into the Academic Health Center and anesthesia services provided through the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Anesthesia, Dr. Traylor continues to play a vital leadership role. She is deeply committed to advancing resident education and is passionate about fostering clinical excellence and a supportive learning environment.
