Bio

Dr. Sharon Robertson is an Assistant Professor of Gynecologic Oncology within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Robertson is also the Medical Director of Perioperative Services at IU University Hospital and the Program Director for the Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship. She has a passion for providing comprehensive and compassionate care to women with gynecologic malignancies and is actively involved in training the next generation of OB/GYN and gynecologic oncology physicians.

As an IU School of Medicine faculty member, Dr. Robertson focuses on clinical trial access and enrollment and cervical cancer prevention. She currently serves as the site principal investigator for cervical cancer and vulvar cancer clinical trials and is committed to bridging the gap between clinical practice and research to provide high quality care to patients with gynecologic malignancies.

Dr. Robertson earned her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, a Master of Public Health and her medical degree from Emory University. She completed her residency training in OB/GYN at Oregon Health & Science University. She completed a clinical fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Legacy Health in Portland, OR and a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center/University of South Florida.
