Bio

Dr. Kvatum is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. Originally from Canada, he obtained his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph prior to attending medical school at Trinity School of Medicine. Upon completion of medical school he elected to complete his residency training in Family Medicine at Indiana University in Indianapolis. After obtaining his board certification in Family Medicine, Dr. Kvatum pursued additional training in the field of obesity and is now also certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. His clinical interests include inpatient medicine, outpatient primary care, and obesity care. Dr. Kvatum is also passionate about medical education and serves as the course director for the Family Medicine Transitions 3 course for fourth year medical students at Indiana University. In his free time, Dr. Kvatum enjoys exploring horology, cycling, golfing, watching basketball, and spending time with his two Mini-Australian Shepherds.
