Bio

Dr. Swanson earned her medical degree from New York Medical College. Originally from Wisconsin, she traveled back to the Midwest to complete her Pediatrics Residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. She stayed at Riley Hospital for Children to complete a Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship. She then did an additional training at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in Interventional Cardiology. After finishing her training, she returned to Indiana University and Riley Hospital for Children as faculty. She is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. She specializes in cardiac catheterization while also practicing general cardiology in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
