Dr. Chan earned his BSc and MPHIL from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Ph.D. degree from the University of California, San Diego. Subsequently he completed postdoctoral training at Sanford-Burnham-Prebys Institute and Janssen: Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in San Diego. He was recruited as Research Assistant Professor to Indiana University in 2019.His current research at the IHD program at Krannert Cardiovascular Center is focused on investigating the time-dependent signaling cascade events following myocardial infarction using various cutting-edge tools used employed in stem cell biology, molecular biology, and cardiovascular biology.
