Bio
Travis Frantz, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder, knee and sports medicine. Since beginning his practice in 2021, he has been dedicated to helping patients overcome injuries, restore functions and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Dr. Frantz’s passion for orthopedic surgery stems from his own experiences as an athlete. While playing sports throughout high school and college, including collegiate baseball in Indiana, he experienced multiple ACL injuries that required surgery and rehabilitation. Those challenges introduced him to the field of sports medicine and orthopedic surgery and inspired him to pursue a career in helping others navigate similar injuries. Through his own recovery journey, he developed a deep appreciation for the physicians and medical professionals who helped him return to the activities he loved.
Dr. Frantz believes that every patient deserves a personalized treatment plan tailored to their unique goals, lifestyle and circumstances. During an initial appointment, he takes time to understand each patient’s concerns and collaborates with them to develop an individualized approach to care. Whether the goal is returning to competitive athletics, staying active with family, or maintaining an independent lifestyle, he is committed to helping patients achieve the best possible outcome.
What Dr. Frantz finds most rewarding is seeing patients regain their quality of life. From helping athletes return to the field or court to enable grandparents to comfortably lift and play with their grandchildren again, he values the opportunity to help people get back to doing the things they enjoy most.
