Bio

Martha Rodríguez, MD, is a faculty member at Riley Hospital for Children IU Health Academic Health Center. She completed  her fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology at the University of Chicago, Comer’s Children Hospital. She provides care for children and teenagers with a variety of rheumatologic diseases including systemic lupus erythematosus, childhood arthritis, dermatomyositis, vasculitis and musculoskeletal pain. She has particular interest in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Neuropsychiatric Lupus and Mental health in patients with Rheumatic Diseases. She is an active member of the Childhood Arthritis & Rheumatology Research Alliance, a national collaborative research organization with the goal to prevent, treat and cure pediatric rheumatic diseases. She is also interested on medical education, especially in program development and curriculum design. She serves as one of the Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program.
