Bio
Dr. Sara Kane is a clinical neonatologist at Riley Hospital for Children and serves as the Pediatric Residency Program Director for Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine, and during her fellowship training also earned her Master’s Degree in Adult Education. Her clinical interests are in high-risk resuscitations, delivery room management, and care of extremely preterm infants. Her research interests focus on resident and fellow education, especially in program development, curriculum design, and evaluation methodology. In addition to her roles at the University, she also is involved with the Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD), where she serves as a regional Vice-Chair for the mid-America region.
