Bio
I would like to practice non-malignant hematology or a mix of non-malignant and malignant hematology in an academic setting. I plan to focus my research on outcomes and quality improvement in the adolescent and young adult population; this could extend to both new diagnoses in this age group as well as transition of care in chronic illnesses with a particular focus on utilizing EMR tools. I am also interested in studying resource utilization and evidence based practice for diagnostic test use. Having teaching opportunities is very important to me, as well. In the longer term, I would like to have some role in system leadership, potentially related to clinical information systems.
