Bio
Andrew O’Brien, MD, is an adult hematologist and Co-Director of the Lifespan Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center at Indiana University, whose mission is to revolutionize the way we partner with those with sickle cell disease and ensure that all those living with blood disorders have equitable, agile healthcare. He completed a combined internal medicine and pediatric residency and adult hematology fellowship at Indiana University. In addition to co-directing the lifespan sickle cell center, he also serves as hematology service line leader for the Indiana University Health Medical Group and program leader for classical hematology for the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
