Bio
Dr. Zhao currently serves as Assistant Research Professor. Dr. Zhao received her doctoral degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College.
Prior to joining Indiana University, Dr. Zhao completed her postdoctoral training in Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Dr. Zhao’s research focus is in translational mechanisms of inflammatory tissue injury and ischemia-reperfusion biology. She has served as contributor to more than 20 of peer-reviewed publications.
