My major research interest is in developing statistical methods for the analysis of observational data. I have conducted research in statistical methods dealing with longitudinal data analyses with missing data, correlated data and data collected from complex sampling.
I have been involved in research projects in Alzheimer’s Disease and aging. I have extensive experience working with a team of biostatisticians and data managers on various cohort and clinical studies. I am the Principal Investigator of two NIH funded projects, one on selenium level and cognitive decline conducted in China and another on secondary data analysis examining vascular profiles and their assciations with dementia risk. I am the Core Leader for the Data Management and Statistics Core of the Indiana Alzheimer's Disease Center. I also collaborate with a group of researchers from the Indiana University Center for Aging Research.
