Julie E. Stark, MD

Bio

Dr. Julie Stark grew up in Lafayette, Indiana.  She attended the University of Indianapolis for her undergraduate studies and obtained her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine.  She completed pediatric residency and chief residency at Riley Hospital for Children followed by pediatric critical care fellowship and cardiac critical care fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.  She started her career at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee but returned home to Riley Children’s Hospital in 2024 to serve her beloved Hoosiers again.  She is interested in medical education and obtained a master’s degree in medical education from the University of Cincinnati.  Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and rescue dog.  Together, they love to hike, travel, and spend time with family.
