Bio
Dr. Nadia Krupp is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine, and the Director of the Riley Asthma Program. She is a graduate of Yale University, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Krupp completed her pediatric residency at Indiana University and pediatric pulmonology fellowship at Indiana University. Dr. Krupp holds membership in numerous national professional societies including the American Academy of Pediatrics, Indiana Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Thoracic Society. Her Research focuses on pediatric asthma management and High Risk pediatric asthma.

My research interests are centered on delivery of asthma care to all patients, particularly children with severe, refractory, or difficult to treat asthma. My research has included quality improvement projects aimed at decreasing hospital readmission for asthma, implementation of standardized weaning protocols for inpatient asthma care, and examination of clinical outcomes for the Riley High Risk Asthma clinic.

My primary area of interest is pediatric asthma, particularly patients with severe, refractory, or difficult to treat asthma. These patients are often cared for within the Riley High Risk Asthma clinic, and require intensive outpatient treatment. In addition to clinical care, I enjoy community outreach, to primary care physicians, school nurses, and community partners, in both educational and partnership building roles. I also enjoy treating patients with a wide variety of pulmonary issues, including airway problems, recurrent pneumonia, exercise intolerance, chronic cough, and lung disease of prematurity.
