Aoki Lab

Our lab uses various methods across biological scales, from atomic resolution structures to RNA biochemistry to animal models, to determine the assembly and function of RNA-protein complexes in health and disease.

How do proteins recognize RNA? How does RNA-protein complex assembly connect to its biochemistry in vivo? How do RNA-protein complexes pass information across tissue? How can we develop diagnostics and therapeutics targeting RNA-protein complexes?

Stop by any time to talk about science and mentorship!
