IU School of Medicine Dean Jay Hess welcomed members of the school community to join in an All School Meeting on Sept. 10.

The Department of Medicine was once again well represented at the meeting.
All three of the studies highlighted by Tatiana Foroud, PhD, Executive Associate Dean for Research Affairs, as examples of excellent high-impact manuscripts were either originating from or involved Department of Medicine investigators.
Gabe Bosselt, MD, and Ann Cottingham, MAR, MA, won awards; and nearly a dozen volunteer and adjunct faculty member in the department won Teaching Award.

Additionally, Dean Hess shared updates on some key projects and initiatives happening at the school, including updates from the school’s clinical partners at IU Health, the VA and Eskenazi, and an update on the new Medical Education and Research Building.
