School's planetary health scores continue to climb

A line graph depicting IU School of Medicine's scores on the PHRC.According to the 2024-2025 Planetary Health Report Card (PHRC)—released annually on Earth Day—students have seen continued improvement in IU School of Medicine’s efforts in promoting planetary health and education.

“It [the scores] reflects [the School’s] accomplishments and the ongoing efforts to hold planetary health as an integral part of our institution,” the report states.

Each year, students from participating institutions evaluate their schools across five key areas: curriculum interdisciplinary research, community outreach and advocacy, support for student-led initiatives, and campus sustainability.
