Arthur B Richter Scholarship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

The IU Department of Psychiatry is offering the Arthur B. Richter Scholarship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, awarding up to two scholarships of $4,000 each to third-year medical students interested in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Eligibility

  • MS3s - Graduating in 2026.
  • Above-average grades in the psychiatry clerkship.
  • Willing to complete at least one senior elective in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Requirements

  • Complete a brief paper on a psychiatry topic.
  • Attend a small number of child psychiatry seminars during the fourth year.

Apply by May 31, 2025

Winners will be announced by July 1, 2025, with funds dispersed early in the fourth year.
