Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine because of the comprehensive care of a diverse patient population. I like having the continuity of care and being able to build lasting relationships with my patient and their families. Family medicine training prepares physicians to be versatile in different clinical settings, offering me various career opportunities.

Why I chose the IU School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial: This program was my top choice because when I came to visit Memorial Hospital, I was encouraged by the amount of support residents received from the program. I wanted to be part of an unopposed program that provided me with enough educational opportunities and skills to succeed after residency. The affiliation with IUSM ensures access to extensive resources that will help me meet all my goals during residency. The community of Jasper impressed me with their friendliness and family-oriented values.

Personal interests and hobbies: I enjoy outdoor activities including running and hiking. I love attending church and being part of community events. I enjoy traveling and experiencing culture through various foods. In my free time I like creating video food blogs and spending time with family and friends.
