Bio
Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose Family Medicine as my specialty because of its holistic approach to patient care and its emphasis on building long-term relationships with patients. Family Medicine allows me to care for individuals of all ages, from newborns to seniors, and address a wide range of medical conditions. I value the opportunity to provide comprehensive healthcare, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and minor procedures. Being able to serve as a primary care physician and support patients throughout their lives is incredibly rewarding to me.
Why I chose the IU School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial: I chose Indiana University of Medicine Family Medicine because of its reputation for excellence in training and its commitment to providing comprehensive education. The program offers a well-rounded curriculum that encompasses both clinical experience and hospital learning, ensuring that I will receive the necessary skills and knowledge to become a competent and compassionate Family Medicine practitioner. Additionally, the program's emphasis on community engagement and patient-centered care aligns with my values, as I believe in the importance of making a positive impact on the communities I serve.
Personal interests and hobbies: Outside of medicine, I have a diverse range of personal interests and hobbies. I enjoy immersing myself in nature and exploring the outdoors through hiking, camping, and swimming. These activities allow me to unwind, appreciate the beauty of the natural world, and maintain a healthy work-life balance. I also have a passion for cooking, eating, and experimenting with different cuisines. It provides me with a creative outlet and a way to distress.
