Why IUEM?

IUEM has a reputation for training very strong and capable residents who go on to be leaders in the field of emergency medicine. After rotating as a 4^th year medical student, I saw this to be true. All the residents were very confident, well prepared, cool under pressure, and welcoming/supportive. I knew I wanted to be like them, and I felt confident that the training from IUEM would prepare me for any job after residency.

EM interests: EMS (specifically tactical medicine and event medicine), community EM, business of medicine

Hobbies: weightlifting, running, boating, fishing, hunting, hiking, exploring local restaurants/breweries/coffee shops, Indiana Hoosiers basketball
