Why I chose Family Medicine:
I chose Family Medicine because as a family physician I will use my medical skills to care for my patients through all the moments of their lives and to fight to eliminate health inequities that are persistent around the world. But what I love the most about Family Medicine is that you can build and create long term relationships with your patients, which, I find very regarding.
Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program:
I chose IU because I wanted to be part of a family medicine residency program that provided a challenging, comprehensive clinical experiences and also community service opportunities to provide care for the underserved and enable me to better serve communities locally and abroad, and I found all those things at IU.
Interests and hobbies:
I enjoy playing and watching sports like soccer, basketball and volleyball. I play the ukulele and enjoy drawing and painting. I like running outdoors, hiking and bike riding. Also, I like reading books, watching movies, learning to cook new dishes and spending time with my family and friends.
