Bio
Sam was born and raised in central Illinois. She went to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she majored in Crop Sciences. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Peoria. During medical school, Sam was an active volunteer at Almost Home Kids which is a transitional care facility for children with complex medical conditions. Sam's future career interests include heme/onc and palliative care. Her hobbies include juggling, reading, hiking and playing with her wobbly cat, Coco.| Year | Degree | Institution |
