Bio
Why I chose Family Medicine:
Family Medicine chose me. I like building connections and empathizing with people. Family Medicine offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients that unreservedly trust your ability and judgement. While striving to endorse preventative care, this field warrants opportunities to see a wide array of pathologies in an unrestricted patient population and the ability to hone in on specific areas of interest, which is exciting. Combining these points made Family Medicine a great fit for me.
Why I chose the IU Arnett Family Medicine Residency Program:
Despite being virtual, my interview interactions were undeniably genuine. The honest and relatable conversations reeled me in and I could immediately envision myself being a part of the team. I felt this supportive environment could help me have FUN throughout residency while working toward being a great physician.
Personal interests and hobbies:
Spending time with my family and friends is not only fun but is a great way to de-stress. I am very interested in gardening, hoping to grow most of my own food one day. With that in mind, I love cooking and eating. I am also interested in fitness, weight lifting, enjoy fixing just about anything, and working on cars when time permits.Year | Degree | Institution |
