Dr. Menees received her master's degree in biomedical sciences from East Carolina University. She then obtained her PhD in neuroscience from the University of Georgia. While there, her work centered on the investigation of the role of innate immune cells in synucleinopathies and aging, with a particular focus on natural killer cells.
