Lauren M. Ladd, MD

Bio

        Dr. Lauren Ladd is an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology and has been a faculty member in the IU Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences since 2014. She completed residency training at the IUSM Radiology Residency Program in 2013 and a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging & intervention at the University of Wisconsin Department of Radiology in 2014.

     Her clinical interests include musculoskeletal imaging and intervention (especially musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures). She is also a passionate educator and has lectured at the American Roentgen Ray Society, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and Skeletal Society of Radiology annual meetings. She also served as the Musculoskeletal division resident education liaison for nearly 10 years.

She is the faculty co-sponsor of the Women in Radiology group and an active member of the department Diversity, Equity, & Inclusiveness Committee. Beyond the Radiology Department, she is a member of the IUSM Women’s Advisory Council, the Indiana Radiological Society, and several committees of the Radiologic Society of North America and the Skeletal Society of Radiology. 

Outside of the work, Lauren enjoys the outdoors, gardening, baking, exercising, and – above all – spending time with her family.
