Dr Hajjawi built a niche set of skills over the last 3 years in the field of pharmacometrics, Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modelling. He particularly interested in Bayesian statistics, and solving algorithms such as SAEM and FOCEI. However, ultimately his passion is in the application of these complex algorithms to generate output that is meaning for drug development and clinical practice.Dr Hajjawi use R as the basis of his modelling work , and with it I use state of the art software such MONOLIX and NONMEM , and more recently NLMIXR to perform population modelling.
He also passionate about the use of mathematical modelling for predicting the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of therapeutic compounds. Dr Hajjawi is a Clinical pharmacist by trade, and with a PharmD degree, He had experience in clinical application and monitoring of drugs in hospital.
