Dr. Johnson received his MD at University of Michigan in 1986, after which he did his residency in diagnostic radiology at Loyola University in Chicago. He then went on to complete his fellowship in interventional radiology at Johns Hopkins. Currently, Dr. Johnson serves as director of clinical research and director of interventional oncology in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences.
Since joining IU School of Medicine in 1994, Dr. Johnson has served as chief of vascular and interventional radiology and chairman of one of five Indiana University Institutional Review boards. He is a fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and a member of SIR’s executive council.
