Bio
I am originally from Afghanistan, born and raised in Saudi Arabia, and attended medical school in Egypt. After completing my residency in Toledo, Ohio, I moved to Indianapolis for my GI fellowship—and have since graduated. I’m now continuing my training here in an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship. I enjoy all aspects of GI, with a particular interest in complex procedures and innovation in endoscopy. One of my favorite things about Indy is walking along the Canal, especially in the summer. On my days off, I enjoy gathering with friends and cooking authentic Afghan food.
