Bio
Dr. Keyur Vora is a trained cardiologist and clinical trialist with the Ischemic Heart Disease Investigation Team at the Krannert Cardiovascular Research Center. Dr. Vora has expertise in clinical cardiovascular diseases, multimodality cardiac imaging, and biomedical informatics. His clinical experience in ischemic heart diseases using Cardiovascular MR, CT coronary angiography, and interventional echocardiography techniques, led to his interest in clinical trials on precision diagnostics, prognostics, and rational therapeutics in cardiology. His previous experience in multimodality and interventional imaging (Cath Lab and Cardiothoracic OT) led to his interest in vessel-muscle relationships in the Acute phase of MI and strategies to prevent ischemia-reperfusion injury.
Dr. Vora is an elected fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), American College of Cardiology (FACC), Society of Cardiac CT (FSCCT) & Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) with Level III certification. As a certified clinical research professional at the Center, Dr. Vora will continue to lead clinical trials and collaborate for multicenter projects spanning STEMI Care, Angiography, Hemorrhagic Myocardial Infarction, and AI-based applications in Cardiovascular Medicine Practice.
