Bio

Dr. Zachary Cohen is a distinguished cardiothoracic anesthesiologist at Indiana University School of Medicine and Indiana University Health, where he has been an integral part of the team since 2015. A native of Chicago, Dr. Cohen completed his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University and earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois. He pursued his residency in anesthesiology at Washington University in St. Louis, serving as Chief Resident, and completed a fellowship in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology. Dr. Cohen's clinical and research interests lie in heart and lung transplantation and coagulation management. He resides in Carmel, Indiana with his wife and three daughters.
