Bio
Dr. Anna Bona first joined IU as a Simulation fellow in 2019 and officially joined as faculty in 2020. She graduated from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2016, and from Maimonides Medical Center located in Brooklyn in 2019. She currently serves as Assistant Clerkship Director for the EM medical student rotation and as core faculty in the Simulation Medicine Division. Her clinical interests include residency and medical student curriculum development, faculty engagement and development, and teamwork communication. Her research focuses on simulation medicine, with emphasis on communication including teamwork, error disclosure, and teaching business and negotiation skills for women. Outside of the department, Anna enjoys spending time with her family, cats, reading, and road trips.
