Bio
I was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Indiana just prior to starting my elementary school education. While Indiana has been my home for most of my life, I did return to Chicago, IL to begin my medical education journey at Loyola University-Chicago where I earned a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Bioethics. I then returned to Indiana for medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine, which I completed in 2016. After this, I pursued an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency position at Indiana University School of Medicine, which I completed in 2020. I found myself not wanting to leave the Indianapolis area after training and took a position at Eskenazi Hospital as a combined Adult-Pediatrics Hospitalist pysician. My adult work consists of both day-time teaching and non-teaching services as well as nocturnist work. I also teach and provide clinical care in the Newborn Nursery for my Pediatric time. Indiana University Health and Riley Hospital for Children allowed me to expand my Pediatric work as a part time Pediatric Hospitalist at Riley Hospital for Children, which I enjoy as well. All of these roles provide me with countless opportunities to train the next set of clinicians and provide excellent care for the community that I serve. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with my family. You can usually find us exploring nature with walks and hikes, binge watching television shows and movies and traveling to see extending family and other cities and communities.
