Bio
I was born in Heidelberg, Germany, but my family moved to the Indianapolis area when I was five years old. I went to Purdue University for undergrad where I majored in biomaterials engineering, realizing I needed to work with the patients who got the devices instead of on the production of new products. After college, I worked for a year in Kansas City, MO, and then decided to come back to Indianapolis for medical school. In just the short time since I moved back, I've really gotten to see the city develop brand new neighborhoods and a new culture, which has been extremely exciting. I enjoy spending my spare time with my wife, Trish, and my dog, Ted, as well as exploring new things about the city, cooking delicious foods (smoking meats in the backyard is something I picked up in Kansas City), gardening, and traveling to new and exotic places.?
